Let me tell you the story of this man.
It was a hot day and we were discovering the island. After a quiet day we drove back to the resort and on our way we saw this man sitting on the outside of a very humble house.
We stop by and decided to talk to him. Although we could not speak the same language we could clearly understand that he spotted a snake in his house so he killed it. His little boy was behind him really happy and proud of his daddy.
Then I asked him to take a picture of the scene so he said yes and showed me the snake, but my interest was to snap the moment, his face, his reaction, the kid.
Taking a picture of the snake would have not told a story; sometimes is best to avoid the subject and think: how can I tell a story in one picture?
Create stories, not pictures.
